Illinois High School Basketball - Prairie Central nips St. Thomas More

In Friday's league contest, the host Prairie Central Hawks basketball team scored a close 62-57 win over the St. Thomas More Sabers.

The Hawks (6-9) will now prepare for their contest against Peoria Christian (Peoria, IL). The Chargers come into the non-league contest with a 12-7 record.

In their next game, the Sabers battle the Fisher Bunnies (Fisher, IL) in a non-league contest, on Monday, January 6. St. Thomas More will attempt to better on its 4-8 season record. The Bunnies come into the contest with a 7-5 record after their 62-47 non-league win over Cerro Gordo/Bement (Cerro Gordo, IL).
