The Prairie City-Monroe Mustangs (Monroe, IA) basketball crushed the visiting South Hamilton Hawks (Jewell, IA), 68-28 in Friday's league bout.
The Mustangs now possess a 4-4 record. They play next when they travel to Roland-Story for a Heart of Iowa - Large bout on Tuesday, January 7. Prairie City-Monroe will play a Norsemen team coming off a 50-28 league loss to West Marshall (State Center, IA). The Norsemen record now stands at 2-6.
