The West Marshall Trojans (State Center, IA) basketball crushed the host Roland-Story Norsemen (Story City, IA), 50-28 in Friday's league bout.

The Trojans now possess a 5-4 record. They play next when they host Greene County for a Heart of Iowa - Large bout on Tuesday, January 7. West Marshall will play a Rams team coming off a 68-40 league loss to Saydel (Des Moines, IA). The Rams record now stands at 2-6.

With the loss, Roland-Story falls to 2-6 on the campaign. The Norsemen travel to Iowa Falls-Alden (Iowa Falls, IA) to play the Cadets in a non-league bout on Monday, January 6.
