Texas High School Basketball - White Deer triumphant over Shamrock

The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the White Deer Bucks (White Deer, TX) and the host Shamrock Irish (Shamrock, TX), observed White Deer's basketball team overwhelm Shamrock by a score of 63-41.

The Bucks (8-9) will now prepare for their challenge against McLean (McLean, TX). The Tigers come into the 1A Region I District 2 challenge with a 12-5 record. In their last challenge, McLean trounced Hedley (Hedley, TX), 73-28, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Irish encounter the Groom Tigers (Groom, TX) in a 1A Region I District 2 challenge, on Tuesday, January 7. Shamrock will attempt to improve on its 3-12 season record. The Tigers come into the challenge with a 8-5 record after their 54-31 league win over Lefors (Lefors, TX).
