The West Central co-op [Winchester-Bluffs] Cougars were victorious over the visiting South County Vipers basketball squad by a final score of 44-33 in Friday's non-league outing.

Next, the Cougars face the Pleasant Hill Wolves (Pleasant Hill, IL) in a Western Illinois Valley outing, on Tuesday, January 7. West Central co-op [Winchester-Bluffs] will attempt to upgrade on its 12-4 season record.

The Vipers (7-8) will now prepare for their outing against Nokomis (Nokomis, IL). The Redskins enter the MSM outing with a 8-7 record. In their last outing, Nokomis ran past Flora (Flora, IL), 43-41, in a non-league outing.
