California High School Basketball - St. Bernard's holds off Yreka

The St. Bernard's Crusaders basketball team scored 70 points and limited the host Yreka Miners to 69 in the Crusaders non-league triumph on Friday.
The Crusaders now possess a 9-2 record. They play next when they travel to Redding Christian for a non-league game on Saturday, January 4. St. Bernard's will confront a Lions team coming off a 45-44 non-league loss to Del Norte (Crescent City, CA). The Lions record now stands at 11-2.
With the loss, Yreka falls to 5-9 on the campaign. The Miners travel to Central Valley (Shasta Lake, CA) to confront the Falcons in a Northern game on Tuesday, January 7. The Falcons go into the game with a record of 2-11. Central Valley lost 57-55 in their recent non-league game against Live Oak (Live Oak, CA)
