The Vinemont Eagles basketball team scored 78 points and limited the visiting Susan Moore Bulldogs to 50 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Friday.

The Eagles now have a 5-11 record. They play next when they host Locust Fork for a 3A Area 11 game on Tuesday, January 7. Vinemont will confront a Hornets team coming off a 64-55 league win over Holly Pond (Holly Pond, AL). The Hornets record now stands at 11-1.

With the loss, Susan Moore falls to 4-8 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host Good Hope (Cullman, AL) to confront the Raiders in a non-league game on Monday, January 6. The Raiders go into the game with a record of 15-4. Good Hope lost 66-59 in their recent non-league game against Arab (Arab, AL)
