In Friday's league contest, the host Terry Bulldogs basketball team scored a big 74-41 triumph over the West Jones Mustangs.
The Bulldogs (7-9) will now prepare for their contest against Hattiesburg (Hattiesburg, MS). The Tigers go into the 6A Region 3 contest with a 11-7 record. In their last contest, Hattiesburg was trounced by Biloxi (Biloxi, MS), 67-54, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Mustangs confront the Pascagoula Panthers (Pascagoula, MS) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, January 4. West Jones will attempt to better on its 4-14 season record. The Panthers go into the contest with a 11-2 record after their 50-40 non-league loss to D'Iberville (D'Iberville, MS).
