Illinois High School Basketball - Payton College Prep holds off Hyde Park

In Friday's non-league contest, the visiting Payton College Prep Grizzlies basketball team scored a close 40-38 triumph over the Hyde Park Thunderbirds.
The Grizzlies (7-5) will now prepare for their contest against Kenwood (Chicago, IL). The Broncos go into the non-league contest with a 1-0 record. In their last contest, Kenwood nipped Thornridge (Dolton, IL), 39-36, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Thunderbirds confront the Bogan Bengals (Chicago, IL) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, January 11. Hyde Park will attempt to better on its 1-2 season record.
