The Rams (14-1) will now prepare for their challenge against South Gwinnett (Snellville, GA). The Comets come into the AAAAAA Region 4 challenge with a 3-7 record. In their last challenge, South Gwinnett was tipped by Southwest Atlanta Christian (Atlanta, GA), 60-58, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Tigers battle the Newton Rams (Covington, GA) in a AAAAAA Region 4 challenge, on Tuesday, January 7. Archer will attempt to improve on its 14-2 season record. The Rams come into the challenge with a 12-1 record after their 53-50 non-league win over Galloway (Atlanta, GA).
