In Friday's non-league contest, the visiting Ashville Bulldogs basketball team scored a good 52-40 triumph over the Westbrook Christian Warriors.
The Bulldogs (4-10) will now prepare for their contest against Hokes Bluff (Hokes Bluff, AL). The Eagles go into the 4A Area 11 contest with a 10-5 record. In their last contest, Hokes Bluff topped Oneonta (Oneonta, AL), 50-44, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Warriors confront the Ohatchee Indians (Ohatchee, AL) in a 3A Area 12 contest, on Tuesday, January 7. Westbrook Christian will attempt to better on its 7-8 season record. The Indians go into the contest with a 10-5 record after their 48-12 non-league win over Ragland (Ragland, AL).
