In Friday's league test, the Austin Panthers (Austin, PA) basketball squad trounced the host Smethport Hubbers (Smethport, PA), by a score of 46-14.

Next, the Panthers clash with the Coudersport Falcons (Coudersport, PA) in a North Tier test, on Tuesday, January 7. Austin will attempt to improve on its 4-2 season record. The Falcons come into the test with a 4-4 record after their 41-22 non-league win over Wellsboro (Wellsboro, PA).

The Hubbers (1-8) will now prepare for their test against Otto-Eldred (Duke Center, PA). The Terrors come into the North Tier test with a 5-1 record. In their last test, Otto-Eldred bounced Jamestown (Jamestown, NY), 59-52, in a non-league test.
