Alabama High School Basketball - Loachapoka nips Beulah

In Friday's non-league contest, the visiting Loachapoka Indians basketball team scored a close 53-50 triumph over the Beulah Bobcats.

The Indians (8-5) will now prepare for their contest against Lanett (Lanett, AL). The Panthers go into the 2A Area 6 contest with a 10-6 record. In their last contest, Lanett nipped Lee-Scott Academy (Auburn, AL), 52-37, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Bobcats battle the Glenwood Gators (Phenix City, AL) in a 3A Area 6 contest, on Tuesday, January 7. Beulah will attempt to better on its 3-7 season record. The Gators go into the contest with a 10-6 record after their 61-18 non-league win over Pike Liberal Arts (Troy, AL).
