In Friday's league contest, the visiting Caledonia Warriors basketball team scored a big 82-53 win over the Plainview-Elgin-Millville Bulldogs.
The Warriors (12-2) will now prepare for their contest against St. Charles (St. Charles, MN). The Fighting Saints come into the AA Section 1 battle with a 1-8 record. In their last battle, St. Charles was crushed by Cotter (Winona, MN), 97-36, in a non-league battle.
The Bulldogs now own a 7-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Winona for a non-league battle on Saturday, January 4. Plainview-Elgin-Millville will meet a Winhawks squad coming off a 69-45 league loss to Faribault (Faribault, MN). The Winhawks record now stands at 0-10.
