In Friday's league contest, the host Port Allegany Gators basketball team scored a good 56-46 triumph over the Cameron County Raiders.
The Gators (8-1) will now prepare for their contest against Galeton (Galeton, PA). The Tigers go into the North Tier contest with a 0-9 record.
In their next game, the Raiders battle the Northern Potter Panthers (Ulysses, PA) in a North Tier contest, on Tuesday, January 7. Cameron County will attempt to better on its 7-1 season record. The Panthers go into the contest with a 4-3 record after their 41-35 league loss to Oswayo Valley (Shinglehouse, PA).
