In Friday's league contest, the host Patrick Henry Patriots basketball team scored a big 64-17 win over the Cave Spring Knights.
The Patriots (5-4) will now prepare for their contest against Pulaski County (Dublin, VA). The Cougars come into the River Ridge contest with a 7-1 record. In their last contest, Pulaski County smashed Hidden Valley (Roanoke, VA), 49-36, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Knights battle the Christiansburg Blue Demons (Christiansburg, VA) in a River Ridge contest, on Tuesday, January 7. Cave Spring will attempt to better on its 3-5 season record. The Blue Demons come into the contest with a 6-2 record after their 64-53 non-league win over Northside (Roanoke, VA).
