In Friday's non-league contest, the host Chatfield Gophers basketball team scored a good 55-37 triumph over the La Crescent Lancers.
The Gophers (6-5) will now prepare for their contest against Cannon Falls (Cannon Falls, MN). The Bombers go into the AA Section 1 contest with a 3-7 record.
In their next game, the Lancers confront the Lake City Tigers (Lake City, MN) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, January 4. La Crescent will attempt to better on its 0-10 season record. The Tigers go into the contest with a 7-4 record after their 50-31 league loss to Dover-Eyota (Eyota, MN).
