In Friday's non-league contest, the visiting Checotah Wildcats basketball team scored a good 48-31 triumph over the Eufaula Ironheads.

The Wildcats (4-2) will now prepare for their contest against McLoud (McLoud, OK). The Redskins go into the non-league contest with a 7-1 record. In their last contest, McLoud topped Stroud (Stroud, OK), 57-27, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Ironheads battle the Poteau Pirates (Poteau, OK) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, January 7. Eufaula will attempt to better on its 4-5 season record. The Pirates go into the contest with a 1-9 record after their 58-26 non-league loss to Pocola (Pocola, OK).
