The Chestatee War Eagles nipped the visiting Dawson County Tigers basketball squad by a final score of 53-46 in Friday's league outing.
Next, the War Eagles face the Lumpkin County Indians (Dahlonega, GA) in a AAA Region 6 outing, on Tuesday, January 7. Chestatee will attempt to upgrade on its 10-5 season record. The Indians enter the outing with a 7-8 record after their 71-28 league win over Johnson (Gainesville, GA).
The Tigers (9-6) will now prepare for their outing against North Hall (Gainesville, GA). The Trojans enter the AAA Region 6 outing with a 4-9 record. In their last outing, North Hall was nipped by Greater Atlanta Christian (Norcross, GA), 58-48, in a league outing.
