The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the North Greene Huskies (Greeneville, TN) and the host Chuckey-Doak Black Knights (Afton, TN), observed North Greene's basketball team knock off Chuckey-Doak by a score of 48-39.

The Huskies (11-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Sullivan East (Bluff City, TN). The Patriots come into the non-league challenge with a 1-8 record. In their last challenge, Sullivan East was knocked off by John Battle (Bristol, VA), 64-48, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Black Knights encounter the Cherokee Chiefs (Rogersville, TN) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, January 6. Chuckey-Doak will attempt to improve on its 6-9 season record. The Chiefs come into the challenge with a 4-11 record after their 42-31 non-league win over University School (Johnson City, TN).
