Next, the Flyers clash with the Frankston Indians (Frankston, TX) in a 2A Region III District 19 test, on Tuesday, January 7. LaPoynor will attempt to upgrade on its 16-9 season record. The Indians come into the test with a 14-8 record after their 47-41 league win over Cayuga (Cayuga, TX).

The Bobcats (7-7) will now prepare for their test against Alba-Golden (Alba, TX). The Panthers come into the 2A Region III District 19 test with a 11-11 record. In their last test, Alba-Golden went down by Fruitvale (Fruitvale, TX), 33-32, in a league test.
