In Friday's league contest, the visiting Cushing Bearkats basketball team scored a good 45-35 triumph over the Mt. Enterprise Wildcats.

The Bearkats (11-11) will now prepare for their contest against Douglass (Douglass, TX). The Indians go into the 2A Region III District 22 contest with a 12-8 record. In their last contest, Douglass topped New Summerfield (New Summerfield, TX), 64-5, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Wildcats confront the Overton Mustangs (Overton, TX) in a 2A Region III District 22 contest, on Tuesday, January 7. Mt. Enterprise will attempt to better on its 9-8 season record. The Mustangs go into the contest with a 3-8 record after their 52-32 league win over Alto (Alto, TX).
