The Valley City Hi-Liners basketball squad (Valley City, ND), was nudged 66-64 in Friday's non-league battle with the visiting Devils Lake Firebirds (Devils Lake, ND)
With the victory, Devils Lake advances its record to 7-2 on the year. The Firebirds host Kindred (Kindred, ND) to meet the Vikings in a non-league battle on Friday, January 10. The Vikings enter the battle with a record of 4-3.
The Hi-Liners now own a 5-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Wahpeton for a A Region 1 battle on Monday, January 6. Valley City will meet a Huskies squad coming off a 61-22 league win over Lisbon (Lisbon, ND). The Huskies record now stands at 3-5.
