The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Dunmore Bucks (Dunmore, PA) and the visiting Western Wayne Wildcats (Lake Ariel, PA), observed Dunmore's basketball team overwhelm Western Wayne by a score of 51-24.

The Bucks (7-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Riverside (Taylor, PA). The Vikings come into the Lackawanna 3 challenge with a 4-5 record. In their last challenge, Riverside was routed by Mid Valley (Throop, PA), 29-27, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Wildcats play the Honesdale Hornets (Honesdale, PA) in a Lackawanna 3 bout, on Tuesday, January 7. Western Wayne will attempt to move on its 4-5 season record. The Hornets go into the bout with a 5-2 record after their 59-36 league win over Lakeland (Jermyn, PA).
