The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Red River Roughriders (Grand Forks, ND) and the visiting Fargo South Bruins (Fargo, ND), observed Red River's basketball team overwhelm Fargo South by a score of 70-33.

The Roughriders (4-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Fargo North (Fargo, ND). The Spartans come into the AA East challenge with a 3-5 record. In their last challenge, Fargo North trounced Grand Forks Central (Grand Forks, ND), 48-47, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Bruins encounter the Shanley Deacons (Fargo, ND) in a AA East challenge, on Tuesday, January 7. Fargo South will attempt to improve on its 0-9 season record. The Deacons come into the challenge with a 4-5 record after their 82-58 league win over West Fargo (West Fargo, ND).
