In Friday's league test, the Fitch Falcons (Groton, CT) basketball squad knocked off the visiting New London Whalers (New London, CT), by a score of 44-26.

Next, the Falcons encounter the Norwich Free Academy Wildcats (Norwich, CT) in a Eastern Connecticut - 1 test, on Tuesday, January 7. Fitch will attempt to improve on its 3-2 season record. The Wildcats come into the test with a 3-2 record after their 68-28 non-league win over Pomperaug (Southbury, CT).
