The Gentry Pioneers basketball squad (Gentry, AR), was nudged 58-51 in Friday's non-league battle with the visiting Lincoln Wolves (Lincoln, AR)
With the victory, Lincoln advances its record to 10-4 on the year. The Wolves host Providence Academy (Rogers, AR) to meet the Patriots in a 3A Region 1 battle on Tuesday, January 7. The Patriots enter the battle with a record of 0-9. Providence Academy lost 46-28 in their recent non-league battle against Life Way Christian (Centerton, AR)
The Pioneers now own a 5-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Huntsville for a 4A Region 1 battle on Tuesday, January 7. Gentry will meet a Eagles squad coming off a 59-51 non-league win over McDonald County (Anderson, MO). The Eagles record now stands at 11-3.
