The Gilroy Mustangs basketball squad (Gilroy, CA), was crushed 45-17 in Friday's league battle with the visiting Live Oak Acorns (Morgan Hill, CA)

With the victory, Live Oak advances its record to 7-5 on the year. The Acorns host Mt. Pleasant (San Jose, CA) to meet the Cardinals in a Blossom Valley - Almaden Valley battle on Tuesday, January 7. The Cardinals enter the battle with a record of 0-10.
