New Hampshire High School Basketball - Groveton overwhelms Woodsville

The Groveton Eagles basketball team scored 59 points and limited the visiting Woodsville Engineers to 37 in the Eagles league triumph on Friday.
The Eagles now possess a 5-0 record. They play next when they travel to White Mountains for a non-league game on Tuesday, January 7. Groveton will play a Spartans team coming off a 57-17 league win over Newfound Regional (Bristol, NH). The Spartans record now stands at 3-2.
With the loss, Woodsville falls to 2-3 on the campaign. The Engineers travel to Lin-Wood (Lincoln, NH) to play the Lumberjacks in a Division IV game on Tuesday, January 7. The Lumberjacks go into the game with a record of 3-4. Lin-Wood won 38-29 in their recent non-league game against Newfound Regional (Bristol, NH)
