Hoosac Valley Hurricanes (Cheshire, MA) boosters left the game satisfied Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the host Hampshire Regional Raiders (Westhampton, MA), 59-46 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Hoosac Valley upgrades its record to 5-0 on the year. The Hurricanes host Wahconah Regional (Dalton, MA) to face the Warriors in a Freelance match on Tuesday, January 7. The Warriors enter the match with a record of 0-0.
The Raiders now sport a 0-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Amherst-Pelham Regional for a non-league match on Tuesday, January 7. Hampshire Regional will face a Hurricanes squad coming off a 50-6 non-league loss to Frontier Regional (South Deerfield, MA). The Hurricanes record now stands at 0-1.
