The Lake-Lehman Knights (Lehman, PA) basketball crushed the visiting Holy Redeemer Royals (Wilkes-Barre, PA), 65-35 in Friday's league bout.

The Knights now possess a 5-5 record. They play next when they travel to Wyoming Area for a non-league bout on Monday, January 6. Lake-Lehman will play a Warriors team coming off a 47-10 non-league win over MMI Preparatory School (Freeland, PA). The Warriors record now stands at 4-7.

With the loss, Holy Redeemer falls to 8-3 on the campaign. The Royals host Hanover Area (Hanover Township, PA) to play the Hawkeyes in a Wyoming Valley 2 bout on Monday, January 6. The Hawkeyes go into the bout with a record of 2-5. Hanover Area lost 55-16 in their recent non-league bout against Wyoming Seminary College Prep (Kingston, PA)
