The Rutland Hurricanes basketball squad (Macon, GA), was nudged 32-27 in Friday's league battle with the host Jackson Red Devils (Jackson, GA)
With the victory, Jackson advances its record to 4-10 on the year. The Red Devils travel to Jasper County (Monticello, GA) to meet the Hurricanes in a non-league battle on Saturday, January 4. The Hurricanes enter the battle with a record of 5-6. Jasper County won 64-46 in their recent non-league battle against Franklin County (Carnesville, GA)
The Hurricanes now own a 1-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Morgan County for a AA Region 2 battle on Tuesday, January 7. Rutland will meet a Bulldogs squad coming off a 63-54 league win over Westside (Macon, GA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 7-9.
