The Eagles (5-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Oologah (Oologah, OK). The Mustangs come into the Verdigris Valley challenge with a 2-1 record. In their last challenge, Oologah was routed by Locust Grove (Locust Grove, OK), 59-41, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Warriors encounter the Oklahoma Union Cougars (South Coffeyville, OK) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 7. Ketchum will attempt to improve on its 1-6 season record. The Cougars come into the challenge with a 0-6 record after their 56-13 non-league loss to Grove (Grove, OK).
