Slidell Greyhounds (Slidell, TX) supporters left the game satisfied Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the host Lindsay Knights (Lindsay, TX), 59-44 in a league match.

With the victory, Slidell advances its record to 15-7 on the year. The Greyhounds host Era (Era, TX) to face the Hornets in a 2A Region II District 13 match on Tuesday, January 7. The Hornets enter the match with a record of 10-10. Era won 37-24 in their recent league match against Chico (Chico, TX)

The Knights now own a 15-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Tioga for a 2A Region II District 13 match on Tuesday, January 7.
