Utah High School Basketball - Manila overwhelms Tintic

January 3, 2025: Manila, UT 84046

The Manila Mustangs basketball team scored 58 points and limited the visiting Tintic Miners to 32 in the Mustangs league triumph on Friday.

The Mustangs now possess a 5-5 record. They play next when they travel to Wendover for a 1A Region 22 game on Saturday, January 4. Manila will confront a Wildcats team coming off a 75-42 non-league loss to Draper APA (Draper, UT). The Wildcats record now stands at 1-9.

With the loss, Tintic falls to 4-6 on the campaign. The Miners travel to Rich (Randolph, UT) to confront the Rebels in a 1A Region 22 game on Saturday, January 4. The Rebels go into the game with a record of 7-1. Rich won 46-44 in their recent league game against Manila (Manila, UT)
