Next, the Mustangs clash with the East Union Eagles (Afton, IA) in a non-league test, on Thursday, January 9. Murray will attempt to upgrade on its 4-3 season record. The Eagles come into the test with a 0-8 record after their 47-26 non-league loss to Lamoni (Lamoni, IA).

The Saints (6-3) will now prepare for their test against Moulton-Udell (Moulton, IA). The Eagles come into the Bluegrass test with a 1-5 record. In their last test, Moulton-Udell was overwhelmed by Seymour (Seymour, IA), 42-21, in a league test.
