The Old Orchard Beach Seagulls defeated the visiting Monmouth Academy Mustangs basketball squad by a final score of 42-26 in Friday's league outing.
Next, the Seagulls clash with the Waynflete Flyers (Portland, ME) in a non-league outing, on Thursday, January 9. Old Orchard Beach will attempt to upgrade on its 2-6 season record.
The Mustangs (4-6) will now prepare for their outing against Madison (Madison, ME). The Bulldogs come into the C South outing with a 4-3 record. In their last outing, Madison overcame Oak Hill (Sabattus, ME), 60-28, in a non-league outing.
