Texas High School Basketball - Reedy routs Newman Smith

In Friday's league contest, the visiting Reedy Lions basketball team scored a big 45-22 triumph over the Newman Smith Trojans.
The Lions (17-9) will now prepare for their contest against Turner (Carrollton, TX). The Lions go into the 5A Region II District 12 contest with a 2-15 record. In their last contest, Turner was trounced by Lone Star (Frisco, TX), 84-0, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Trojans battle the Highland Park Scots (Dallas, TX) in a 5A Region II District 12 contest, on Tuesday, January 7. Newman Smith will attempt to better on its 12-5 season record. The Scots go into the contest with a 13-11 record after their 58-36 league win over The Colony (The Colony, TX).
