Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Sullivan County overwhelmed by Northwest Area

January 3, 2025: Laporte, PA 18626

The Northwest Area Rangers bounced the host Sullivan County Griffins basketball squad by a final score of 52-8 in Friday's league outing.

Next, the Rangers clash with the Muncy Indians (Muncy, PA) in a Mid-Penn - D4 outing, on Wednesday, January 8. Northwest Area will attempt to upgrade on its 7-2 season record. The Indians come into the outing with a 6-2 record after their 47-26 non-league win over Montoursville (Montoursville, PA).

The Griffins (2-7) will now prepare for their outing against North Penn-Liberty (Liberty, PA). The Mountie come into the non-league outing with a 2-5 record. In their last outing, North Penn-Liberty was overwhelmed by Athens (Athens, PA), 51-32, in a league outing.
