Ohio High School Basketball - Norton victorious over Springfield

In Friday's league contest, the visiting Norton Panthers basketball team scored a good 53-39 triumph over the Springfield Spartans.

The Panthers (3-7) will now prepare for their contest against Canfield (Canfield, OH). The Cardinals go into the non-league contest with a 11-0 record. In their last contest, Canfield topped Boardman (Youngstown, OH), 38-31, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Spartans battle the North Vikings (Akron, OH) in a non-league contest, on Monday, January 6. Springfield will attempt to better on its 3-8 season record. The Vikings go into the contest with a 1-9 record after their 60-24 non-league loss to Aquinas (Louisville, OH).
