Washington High School Basketball - Pasco nips Richland

In Friday's league contest, the host Pasco Bulldogs basketball team scored a close 48-46 win over the Richland Bombers.

The Bulldogs (1-5) will now prepare for their contest against Shadle Park (Spokane, WA). The Highlanders come into the non-league contest with a 4-5 record. In their last contest, Shadle Park edged Newport (Newport, WA), 57-37, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Bombers battle the Chiawana Riverhawks (Pasco, WA) in a 3A/4A Mid-Columbia contest, on Saturday, January 4. Richland will attempt to better on its 1-7 season record. The Riverhawks come into the contest with a 7-1 record after their 59-56 non-league win over Mead (Spokane, WA).
