The Winnisquam Bears basketball squad (Tilton, NH), was crushed 58-17 in Friday's non-league battle with the visiting Prospect Mountain Timberwolves (Alton, NH)
With the victory, Prospect Mountain advances its record to 5-1 on the year. The Timberwolves host Somersworth (Somersworth, NH) to meet the Toppers in a Division III battle on Tuesday, January 7. The Toppers enter the battle with a record of 0-5. Somersworth lost 62-19 in their recent league battle against Berlin (Berlin, NH)
The Bears now own a 0-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Gilford for a non-league battle on Tuesday, January 7. Winnisquam will meet a Golden Eagles squad coming off a 39-31 league loss to Monadnock (East Swanzey, NH). The Golden Eagles record now stands at 6-1.
