The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Sunset Bison (Dallas, TX) and the host South Oak Cliff Bears (Dallas, TX), observed Sunset's basketball team overcome South Oak Cliff by a score of 43-25.

The Bison (17-7) will now prepare for their challenge against White (Dallas, TX). The Longhorns come into the 5A Region II District 13 challenge with a 8-9 record. In their last challenge, White defeated Molina (Dallas, TX), 87-13, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Bears battle the Jefferson Patriots (Dallas, TX) in a 5A Region II District 13 challenge, on Friday, January 10. South Oak Cliff will attempt to improve on its 4-15 season record.
