The Carrboro Jaguars (Carrboro, NC) basketball were winner over the visiting Vance County Vipers (Henderson, NC), 53-38 in Friday's non-league bout.

The Jaguars now possess a 2-5 record. They play next when they host South Granville for a bout on Tuesday, January 7. Carrboro will play a Vikings team coming off a 71-43 non-league win over J.F. Webb (Oxford, NC). The Vikings record now stands at 7-4.

With the loss, Vance County falls to 2-7 on the campaign. The Vipers travel to Granville Central (Stem, NC) to play the Panthers in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 7.
