The Catawba Ridge Copperheads basketball team scored 32 points and limited the visiting Northwestern Trojans to 31 in the Copperheads league triumph on Friday.

The Copperheads now have a 6-8 record. They play next when they travel to Lexington for a non-league game on Monday, January 6.

With the loss, Northwestern falls to 4-2 on the campaign. The Trojans host Clover (Clover, SC) to confront the Blue Eagles in a game on Tuesday, January 7. The Blue Eagles go into the game with a record of 12-1. Clover lost 41-34 in their recent league game against Fort Mill (Fort Mill, SC)
