The North Surry Greyhounds (Mount Airy, NC) basketball crushed the host East Surry Cardinals (Pilot Mountain, NC), 67-42 in Friday's non-league bout.
The Greyhounds now possess a 5-1 record. They play next when they host Forbush for a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 7. North Surry will play a Falcons team coming off a 66-31 non-league loss to East Wilkes (Ronda, NC). The Falcons record now stands at 2-9.
With the loss, East Surry falls to 2-7 on the campaign. The Cardinals host Wilkes Central (Wilkesboro, NC) to play the Eagles in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 7. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 7-4. Wilkes Central lost 59-58 in their recent non-league bout against West Wilkes (Millers Creek, NC)
