Lake Placid Dragons (Lake Placid, FL) supporters left the game happy Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad hold off the visiting Frostproof Bulldogs (Frostproof, FL), 45-42 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Lake Placid advances its record to 1-3 on the year. The Dragons travel to DeSoto County (Arcadia, FL) to face the Bulldogs in a non-league match on Tuesday, January 14. The Bulldogs enter the match with a record of 4-4.
The Bulldogs now own a 3-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Hardee for a non-league match on Tuesday, January 7. Frostproof will face a Wildcats squad coming off a 76-72 non-league win over DeSoto County (Arcadia, FL). The Wildcats record now stands at 1-1.
