The Rockbridge County Wildcats basketball team scored 53 points and limited the visiting Harrisonburg Blue Streaks to 42 in the Wildcats league triumph on Friday.

The Wildcats now possess a 1-10 record. They play next when they travel to Parry McCluer for a non-league game on Saturday, January 4. Rockbridge County will play a Fighting Blues team coming off a 47-43 non-league loss to North Cross (Roanoke, VA). The Fighting Blues record now stands at 2-4.

With the loss, Harrisonburg falls to 1-6 on the campaign. The Blue streaks host Spotswood (Penn Laird, VA) to play the Trailblazers in a game on Tuesday, January 7. The Trailblazers go into the game with a record of 3-4. Spotswood won 47-44 in their recent non-league game against East Rockingham (Elkton, VA)
