In Friday's non-league contest, the host West Brunswick Trojans basketball team scored a good 91-83 triumph over the North Brunswick Scorpions.
The Trojans (8-2) will now prepare for their contest against Ashley (Wilmington, NC). The Screaming Eagle go into the non-league contest with a 4-5 record. In their last contest, Ashley was topped by Hoggard (Wilmington, NC), 54-34, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Scorpions confront the New Hanover Wildcats (Wilmington, NC) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, January 7. North Brunswick will attempt to better on its 7-4 season record. The Wildcats go into the contest with a 4-1 record after their 40-15 league win over Laney (Wilmington, NC).
