The Northwest Halifax Vikings (Littleton, NC) basketball crushed the visiting Rocky Mount Prep Jaguars (Rocky Mount, NC), 76-51 in Friday's non-league bout.
The Vikings now possess a 5-3 record. They play next when they travel to North Edgecombe for a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 7. Northwest Halifax will play a Warriors team coming off a 55-31 non-league loss to Tarboro (Tarboro, NC). The Warriors record now stands at 0-7.
With the loss, Rocky Mount Prep falls to 4-3 on the campaign. The Jaguars host Weldon (Weldon, NC) to play the Chargers in a non-league bout on Friday, January 10. The Chargers go into the bout with a record of 3-1.
